The Championship is full of talent that is worthy of the Premier League and some of it will be playing there next season.
A lot of Championship players have gone on to do well there and many fans still remember Mahrez and Vardy playing in this league, and now they are the two centrepieces of Leicester’s unbelievable title challenge in the Premier League.
Currently in the Championship it is Burnley who sit top of the league and are seven points clear of second placed Middlesbrough, who have Hull and Brighton in close company.
The goalscoring form of Andre Gray has been essential to the good form of Burnley who have also had a successful industrial midfield and a solid defence.
Middlesbrough have mainly been struggling on the goals front but the defence has been as rock solid as it was last season, thanks to Gibson and Ayala.
Hull are the only side with a better defence and they score more goals than Middlesbrough with Abel Hernandez being one of the best strikers in the division.
Some of the best attacking talent isn’t just at the sides doing well with Ross McCormack currently keeping Fulham above the drop zone being testament to that.
Alan Judge has been carrying Brentford this season as well, as when Nick Blackman was carrying Reading until he left for Derby in January.
For the ultimate Championship XI you need the most potent strikeforce, the most solid defence and a good industrious/slash creative midfield to hold it all together.
