The transfer mistakes that Norwich made during the last month

Norwich City were very active in the January window with several arrivals and departures from Carrow Road in the last month.

Whilst experienced players such as Yanic Wildschut, Cameron Jerome and Russell Martin left, Alex Pritchard’s exit caught the headlines when he went for around £11m to Huddersfield Town.

Many Canaries fans may have resigned themselves to the fact the talented attacking midfielder would be moving on but it was still a blow.

Daniel Farke and the recruitment team waited until near the end of the window to spend some of the funds they received from that deal with Moritz Leitner, Onel Hernandez and Dennis Srbeny all joining from German clubs.

The latter two are believed to have cost around £1.7m and £1.3m.

Talented youngster Marcus Edwards arrived on loan from Spurs and Kenny McLean was bought from Aberdeen and then loaned back to the Dons.

Norwich also managed to hold on to star man James Maddison in what was a very eventful window for the Yellows. And, here we will look at two mistakes they made last month.
