Just inside the League Two play-off spots with only two games to go, a couple of wins will ensure Stevenage a place in the end of season lottery.

The Boro have had a solid year, and a run of good results has placed them firmly within play-off contention.

However, nothing is secured.

With two games to go, an incredible ELEVEN sides can still make the top seven, and the pressure is firmly on manager, Darren Sarll.

Whether the team from Broadhall Way makes it remains to be seen, but Sarll will undoubtedly already be planning for next season at the club.

The Stevenage squad will need strengthening over the summer, and a number of players may come through the doors over the course of the offseason.

The loan market is key to success and survival in League Two, and Sarll will use this transfer method to bring some fresh faces into his squad.

Tottenham Hotspur are a club who consistently produce talented youngster from their academy, and a number of young stars are currently on the books at White Hart Lane.

One such player is midfielder, Joe Pritchard.

Pritchard’s from Spurs have done well on loan in the Football League, with namesake, Alex, enjoying a successful spell in The Championship with Brentford.

Although no relation, Joe could be about to follow the same path.

The midfielder has featured regularly in Tottenham’s U-23 side this year, and a move to League Two, and competitive football, could be exactly what is needed to continue the players development.

Stevenage should look to give the player a shot at first team football, and see if the young talent has what it takes to compete in the tumultuous division that is League Two.
