Fulham have forked out some serious money for players in the not so distant past.

Upon promotion to the Premier League in 2018, Fulham and Slavisa Jokanovic (or rather, Tony Khan) went about signing £100 million worth of players.

He broke the club's transfer record three times in one summer, and here we take a look back at Fulham's six most expensive signings of all time, according to Transfermarkt:

The Greek forward arrived in 2013 and with big expectations, having netted 81 goals in 183 games for Olympiacos. His Fulham career though consisted of three appearances and zero goals, and he since went on to have successful stints with the likes of Benfica and Marseille.

A central-defender who was once linked with some of the biggest teams in the country, Mawson has since failed to live up to expectation.

He's recently undergone ankle surgery after a tough season with Fulham, and is so far proving to be an overly-expensive purchase.

Steven Marlet is a blast from the past. He became Fulham's record signing in 2001, signing from Lyon for a fee of over £15 million. That was big money at the time, but Marlet never settled in London, and after four uneventful seasons he was released.

Few Fulham fans will argue with the value for money that Mitrovic has brought.

He's once again proving to be one of the most underrated strikers in Europe with over 30 goals for club and country, and if Fulham don't head up to the Premier League this season, Mitrovic surely will.

One of last summer's big arrivals, Anguissa had a lot of fans excited. A Cameroonian international and a star with Marseille in Ligue 1, he played 22 times for Fulham in the Premier League but was unable to prevent them from the drop, and this season he's on-loan at Villareal.

Even more expensive than Mitrovic and Anguissa, and arguably more exciting a signing than both was that of Jean Michael Seri. He had more involvement with the first-team than Anguissa, and even managed a goal in the Premier League.

But he too failed to live up the price-tag that Fulham paid, and is this season playing for Galatasaray on-loan, where he's so far endured a tough spell.
