Millwall are in the midst of an exciting Championship season and with the January transfer window having slammed shut, they now know the squad they will have to fight on with.

The Lions have always been fairly shrewd in the player market but they have been prone to splash the cash when necessary as well.

Here we take a look at the SIX biggest fees they have paid (according to Transfermarkt)...

Bodvarsson only arrived from Reading last summer and he did so for around £760,000.

The big striker has netted two goals in 22 appearances so far but will be looking to improve on that before the end of the season.

Malone was snapped up from AFC Bournemouth for a around £840,000 back in 2012.

He went on to spend three years at The Den before moving on to Cardiff City in 2015.

Signed in the summer of 2018 for around £900,000 from Brighton, Skalak's time with Millwall has been pretty underwhelming so far.

He has made just 28 appearances, and only seven so far this season too.

Mahoney was snapped up from Bournemouth in the summer for just under £1million after impressing during a loan spell with Birmingham.

This season has seen him net once in 27 appearances, contributing two assists as well.

After Barnsley were relegated, Bradshaw made the move to The Den in order to retain Championship football, doing so for £1million.

A record at the time.

But it did not last long.

Leonard was snapped up for just over the fee paid for Bradshaw back in January 2019 from Sheffield United after impressing during an initial loan spell.
