Brighton will be looking to make it another successful season for survival in the Premier League if and when it resumes, and Graham Potter will have all eyes on that.

With the current lockdown persisting, though, we've been taking a look at the Seagulls over the years, with our focus on the best strikers to have played for the club since 2010.

Here, then, is our top six - starting with sixth place...

Craig Mackail-Smith's most successful season came in 12/13 in the Championship.

The proven EFL scorer showed what he could do with 11 goals in 29 games for the Seagulls that season. Injury, though, perhaps hampered him at the Seagulls.

Barnes was a youngster at Brighton and was their top scorer back in 11/12.

He scored 11 goals that year and would eventually earn himself a move to Burnley where he has kicked on further.

Hemed might be struggling this season at Charlton but for Brighton in the middle of the last decade he was a decent source for goals at times.

He was top scorer in 15/16 in the Championship as he racked up 17 strikes.

Ulloa was top scorer in 13/14 with 14 goals in 33 games.

His all-round hold-up play was good and he would earn a move to Leicester City on the back of his form - famously winning the Premier League soon after.

Maupay hasn't been at the club long but he has impressed this season after joining from Brentford.

He looks the natural successor to Glenn Murray and is an indicator of what Graham Potter is looking to build on the south coast and it's his potential which is why we've put him so high.

Murray simply had to be top.

Regularly the Seagulls' top scorer in the last decade - both in the Championship and the Premier League.

He's been a superb attacker and will be fondly remembered at the club for years to come.
