It has been a mixed season for Brighton & Hove Albion, with Graham Potter's side just managing to steer clear of the relegation zone.

But who amongst the Seagulls ranks earn the big bucks? Here we highlight the top five biggest earners at Brighton & Hiove Albion.........

Lewis Dunk has spent his whole career at Brighton & Hove Albion except for a short loan-spell at Bristol City back in 2013.

This season Dunk, 28, has been a regular for manager Graham Potter, making 27 appearances in the Premier League, scoring three times and making a couple of assists.

José Izquierdo arrived at the Amex Stadium in August 2017, for a then club record transfer fee of around £13.5 million from Club Brugge.

Izquierdo, 27, has since gone on to make 40 appearances for the Seagulls, scoring three goals, though this season the Colombian winger has failed to score in 15 league appearances.

Alireza Jahanbakhsh arrived at the Amex in July 2018 from AZ for an undisclosed club record fee, signing a five-year deal and going  on to play only 25 matches in his first season due to injuries and poor performance that amounted to no goals and no assists.

The following season when Graham Potter replaced Chris Hughton, the Iranian winger rarely found himself in the match squad until December 2019 when he came in as a substitute in a match against Wolverhampton and has gone onto make a further eight appearances this season.

Pascal Groß signed for the Seagulls in May 2017, when he arrived in a £3 million deal from German side FC Ingolstadt 04.

Groß, 28, has gone on to make 85 appearances for Brighton and this season he has been a regular with the midfielder scoring twice and making four assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.

Top earner at the Amex is Spanish right-back Martin Montoya who signed from Valencia in August 2018 in a deal worth €7 million.

The £50,000 a week full-back has only managed 34 appearances in total in nine-and-a-half seasons at the club, 23 of these coming this season.
