Queens Park Rangers have had a very up and down decade where they have had a couple of promotions and relegations.

Promotion to the Premier League was a high, but the relegation and slump to a relegation candidate in the second tier has counteracted all that.

When in the top flight, Rangers were sold false promises.

Ex-Inter and Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar joined the club and infamously declared that he joined to win the Premier League.

Other high-profile talents joined the club and ultimately failed, but it was fun to watch for the neutrals nevertheless.

Now, back in the Championship, the R’s will hope to give the play-offs a real push and return to the upper echelons of English football, but focusing on avoiding the drop might be better.

Here at FLW, we look at the most unforgettable QPR moments of the last 10 years...

Bobby Zamora netted a very late winner for Queens Park Rangers against Derby to send his team to the Premier League.

The play-off final will be remembered for this iconic goal in a game that Derby really deserved to win.

Harry Redknapp guided Rangers back to the Premier League and that sunny day in May will be remembered for years to come.

The ownership of Formula 1 tycoons Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone is best described as weird, although they brought good times to Loftus Road.

The owners of the time gained notoriety for sacking several managers over a short space of time, but took the club to the Premier League in 2011.

One of the weirdest decisions they made was to loan out leading goalscorer Dexter Blackstock to Nottingham Forest and then sack manager Paulo Sousa for moaning about it.

In the Premier League’s most memorable moment – Aguero’s last minute strike that won Manchester City their first Premier League – many often forget that QPR avoided relegation.

The Rangers fans celebrated in what became a joint party – they were part of a great moment at the Etihad but also had their own reasons to be cheerful.
