It has been a turbulent last few years for Leeds United, but this year looks to finally be the year that the Whites secure a Championship playoff place at the very least.

The Whites look to travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn Rovers this weekend, in search of their seventh league win of the campaign.

The Yorkshire club have come close to the top-six in recent years under Garry Monk and Thomas Christiansen, but under Marcelo Bielsa they look the real deal.

They may be in disappointing form of late, having won just one of their last four league games, but the Whites sit just outside of the automatic promotion places by just one point.

For £3million, Kemar Roofe looks to be another tremendous signing for Leeds, and has also been missed during his spell on the sidelines.

The 25-year old has been out for almost two months, but scored four goals in his first six appearances of the season, and will look to get back to firing on all cylinders sooner rather than later.

Pablo Hernandez signed for Leeds at the start of the 16/17 season under Garry Monk, and he has been a revelation at Elland Road ever since.

The Spaniard has been missed during his recent spell on the sidelines through injury, but having scored three times and provided two assists in five appearances this season, he looks to be a very, very important player for United's promotion push.

This may be a kick in the teeth for Leeds fans, but Chris Wood was a tremendous player for Leeds United during his stint with the club.

The New Zealand international scored 30 goals in 47 games for Leeds in the 16/17 campaign, in a season where the Whites narrowly missed out on the playoffs, before sealing a £15million move to Burnley last season.
