Blackburn are in 10th position in the Championship heading into the 13th match-day of the season.

In the last month or so, Blackburn have lost just one of the past five fixtures, which was against league leaders Sheffield United.

A win at the bet365 stadium over Stoke City is probably the highlight of the season so far for Rovers supporters, however the tendency to see out draws rather than be defeated will please the fans equally as much.

Tony Mowbray’s side have lost just two fixtures so far this season, which is extremely impressive for the club.

In 10th, Blackburn are only 1 point off the play-offs, and may quietly fancy themselves to give a push for the top six a good go.

The recruitment of the last few years has been relatively pleasing for Blackburn, who don’t have a great amount of money to spend, but they have still welcomed some good talent through the doors.

Here at FLW, we look at the top THREE signings of the past 3 seasons.

In third place in the list is Jacob Davenport, who actually hasn’t played yet for the Rovers. Despite this, he is rated by people such as Pep Guardiola as one of the best talents in English football.

At 19-years-old, the acquisition of Davenport from Manchester City could be ‘one for the future’, with the midfielder set to have a high career.

In second place is, again, a player who hasn’t played much at all for Tony Mowbray’s side, however he represents a great steal.

Ben Brereton was rated by Forest fans as the sort of player that they could sell for big money in a couple of years. He looks excellent whenever he gets a run of games in the side and after a few seasons, Blackburn could be rubbing their hands if a Premier League club comes in for Brereton.

Leading the way is Bradley Dack.

In League One last season, the only real debate to be had was who was better out of Blackburn’s Dack and Wigan’s Powell.

The midfielder keeps Blackburn ticking and is their best player – should Blackburn really fancy themselves for the play-offs, he will be key.
