Reading have had their fair share of English players that have come and gone from the Madejski Stadium over the years.

The Royals are currently playing their football in the Championship, and will be slightly frustrated not to have won promotion into the top-flight this term, after a hugely impressive start to the 2020/21 league campaign.

The Berkshire-based side have had the likes of Andy Rinomhota, Omar Richards and Michael Morrison are just some of the English-born players that have caught the eye this term.

Reading were last in the Premier League in the 2012/13 season, where they were relegated back into the second-tier after just one season in the top-flight, and they'll be eager to mount a serious push for promotion in next year's campaign.

We take a look at the top-ten best English players to have played for Reading in the last 20 years.
