West Brom have appointed Darren Moore as their permanent manager so now the focus can be entirely on building a squad capable of challenging for promotion.

The Baggies endured an awful campaign in the top-flight this season, with Moore just about restoring pride at the club when he took over.

Whilst he deserves huge credit for the results the team picked up under his guidance in the Premier League, he faces a big task in what is his first permanent role as a senior manager.

Promotion will be the expectancy around the Hawthorns and Moore is likely to get financial backing from the board to ensure Albion don't suffer an extended stay in the second tier.

Therefore, recruitment will be key and here we look at three players West Brom should complete in the coming weeks...

Reports have linked Albion with the RB Salzburg right-back and he would be an exciting addition.

Whilst capable defensively, Laimer really excels going forward, loving to provide support from deep and is very tidy on the ball.

After years of playing centre-backs at full-back and defensive-minded players, Laimer would be a welcome signing for the fans as Albion look to alter the way they play.

Following on from that, changing the style of play is a key requirement from Moore and to do that they need a ball-playing midfielder who can set the tempo.

There are few better in the Championship at that than Woods, who has shone for Brentford in recent years.

Scoring goals has been a major problem for the Baggies so chasing a proven Championship striker seems an obvious thing to do.

Grabban fits into that category after an excellent campaign that saw him score goals for Sunderland and Villa.

He will certainly be available from Bournemouth and could be the man to fire Moore's men to promotion.
