Stoke City made a somewhat sluggish start to the season under Gary Rowett but they are slowly putting together a good run of form, which will be pleasing to see for Potters supporters.

Rowett’s side are unbeaten in their last six league matches and are finally picking up some momentum at the right time ahead of the festive fixtures.

They face Reading at the Madejski Stadium this weekend in what could be a potentially tricky fixture against Paul Clement’s side, who have struggled this season.

Rowett will also be without Peter Etebo for the clash against the Royals after he was dismissed for an appalling challenge in last night’s win over Derby County.

Stoke went on to win a fiercely contested game despite their disadvantage – a result which saw the Potters move up to 12th in the Championship table.

So, how can we expect Stoke’s midfield to line up against Reading with Etebo unavailable?
