Norwich City midfielder James Maddison made his bow for England’s under-21 side today.
The talented attacking midfielder was rewarded for his consistently excellent displays for Norwich with a call-up to the England under-21 set-up and he made his debut for the Young Lions in a 2-0 win away at Ukraine.
After making his debut for England at youth level, the former Coventry City man took to Twitter to share his feelings.
Maddison said on Twitter: “Unbelievable feeling to make my England debut tonight.
“A moment I won’t ever forget.”
The 20-year-old has been instrumental for the Canaries this season after being handed a first team chance, netting four goals in seventeen games.
A mixture of Coventry City, Aberdeen and Norwich City fans took to social media to send Maddison messages of congratulations and share their views on him making his England under-21 debut.
