Despite being a strong pre-season tip for relegation, Bolton Wanderers have had an impressive start to the season.

They currently sit mid-table, which will be more than enough to satisfy their fans, especially after a large turnover of players in the summer.

Phil Parkinson brought in many new players during the transfer window, but has managed to get them playing together in impressively quick time.

But, with all those new players arriving it has led to them having one of the league's largest squads.

With the January transfer window on the horizon, it is likely that a few players will be on the move out of Bolton.

So, which players are almost certain to be leaving?

We discuss...

Alfie Burns

Unless something drastic changes with the length of his contract, Josh Vela could be on the move.

It’d be a blow for Bolton to lose the midfielder, but the situation isn’t a good one for the Trotters.

Plenty of Championship clubs will be interested in taking Vela on board.

Chris Gallagher

Mark Little.

The right-back has lost his place in the team and often struggles to make the matchday squad, so he won't be enjoying how things are going for him at the minute.

At 30, he will want to be playing every week and needs to move for that to happen.

George Harbey

Vela has attracted interest from Birmingham and could be on his way out of Bolton in January.

The 24-year-old has made well over 100 appearances for the Trotters, but could be on his way out in the winter.

Louie Chandler

Mark Little will be getting frustrated.

The attacking right-back will not be lacking in terms of suitors and will be keen to be playing regular football.
