Sheffield Wednesday completed a long-awaited league double over Yorkshire rivals Leeds United at the weekend as they beat them 2-1 at Elland Road.

Neither side has had a particularly good campaign this season but it's safe to say the Owls are feeling more upbeat than the Whites right now - despite both side's league positions.

Indeed, the Owls at least saw some fight and desire from their players in the game, whilst many players were left wanting and looked low on confidence for the home side - with our latest FLW Duel highlighting that perfectly.

Though you'd never accuse Caleb Ekuban of not working hard enough or trying, you'd certainly say that he looks low on confidence and, in all honesty, not at the level right now that Leeds need from their players.

Indeed, when we compare him to Atdhe Nuhiu it doesn't look good for the Whites man, with the Kosovan pretty much trumping him in all areas from the match at the weekend.

The Wednesday man is by no means the greatest striker in the world - he's not even the best at Hillsborough - but he has worked hard in recent weeks and came up smelling of roses on Saturday.

He put in the kind of hard-working and determined performance that Leeds need more of right now and, whilst Wednesday still need to decide on the powerful man's future past this season, it looks as though Ekuban's might have just been sealed.
