Steve Bruce remains unbeaten as Sheffield Wednesday manager after his side beat Blackburn 4-2 on Saturday.

The result leaves the Owls just two points away from the top six and an unlikely push for promotion now seems possible.

Whilst it's been a massive team effort under the new boss, one man has shone since arriving at Hillsborough in January - defender Dominic Iorfa.

He arrived from Wolves for a modest fee after a tough 18 months under Nuno Espirito Santo where he was frozen out, which included a spell on loan at Ipswich.

It saw his career stall somewhat after a very bright start and it was clear the 23-year-old needed to move to get his career back on track.

And, that's exactly what's happened.

Iorfa has been a real hit at Wednesday, bringing a lot to the team with his pace, athleticism and ability to defend. As well as that, he is getting forward well down the flank and gives the team an outlet.

That wouldn't really be a surprise to anyone who has seen the defender play, however what has been a surprise is his new-found goalscoring form.

Incredibly, he made it three goals in seven games with his crucial strike against Rovers on Saturday which highlights just how important he has been at his new club.

Even though you can expect the goals to dry up, Iorfa is already establishing himself as a key part of this Wednesday team and he will be integral as they look to ensure this campaign ends in style.
