Sheffield Wednesday grabbed a late draw thanks to Dominic Iorfa's last minute leveller in the derby with Rotherham yesterday, leaving the Owls unbeaten in five Championship matches.

They opened the scoring through Fernando Forestieri, his first strike since October 3rd. Rotherham levelled not long after and then pushed on to take a 2-1 lead with fifteen minutes remaining on the clock.

Forestieri's goals marked a return to form of sorts for the 29-year-old. He's been in and out of the side in recent weeks, having amassed just nine Championship starts. He took his goal well and would likely have been excited to put the patchy start to his season behind him.

After all, a new manager has breathed some fresh life into the squad and a talented forward like Forestieri is just what they need to press on. In truth, the Argentinian has been in and out of the side for a season and a half, injured and suspended for different periods.

With the goal surely came joy and desire to improve, but a second yellow card, collected whilst celebrating their leveller with a fan, means he'll miss their next game. That's going to come as a blow not only to Steve Bruce, but also to the player himself.

He clearly enjoyed the equaliser, he's a man driven by success and who has the interests of his team at heart, but will his hot-blooded nature now leave him lagging behind in the manager's plans? When on a yellow card, could he have kept his emotions in check, just in case?

It might not even be the Sheffield Wednesday suspension that hits him hardest. Where in the world can you be sent off for celebrating a goal with a fan who has encroached on the pitch? It's been seen time and again across the Football League, but rarely does a player get booked for it.

Referee Darren England might have exercised common sense, but in sending off Forestieri he has dealt him yet another blow in a torrid eighteen months at Hillsborough.

The former Watford man is likely to feel aggrieved and upset in equal measure this morning, as will his manager.
