It's going to be a huge campaign for newly promoted Sheffield United, who are back in the Championship after more than five years away.

Chris Wilder led his team to a huge League One title win last season and there's thought amongst fans that with some decent additions this summer, they could be really competitive at this level next season.

Of course, the Blades will need to add some real quality to their ranks to remain competitive next time out but there's one man we think could do a real job in the starting XI, if he really impresses during pre-season.

The man in question? Former Bradford City favourite James Hanson, who joined the Blades in January.

He struggled during his first few months at Bramall Lane though, scoring just once in 13 appearances.

He's been consistent at best in League One for the past few years, with his height and strength arguably the biggest factor in his game, but he really needs to start finding that goalscoring edge if he's to compete with the likes of Billy Sharp and Ched Evans.

But as Blades fans will know all-to-well, the Championship is very much a rough-and-tumble division and having Hanson to bring on at certain points will be a real asset.

He's a burly unit who's not afraid to throw his weight around in the slightest but he needs to impress his manager during the close campaign, to do everything he can to get into the first-team squad.

Keep an eye on him - he could prove to be a handy addition at certain times next season.
