It's been a tough season down at Loftus Road for QPR and Ian Holloway, who will surely be targeting a stronger campaign in the Championship next-time out.

Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink tried and failed to take the R's to the next level but when Tony Fernandes turned to the experience Ian Holloway, you might have predicted the R's would be in for a better chance of success.

And despite having some good spells in his time at the helm so far, his side have still been too inconsistent at times this season and there's plenty of work to do over the summer if the club are to mount a play-off push next season.

But one man we think would make a superb addition to the squad over the summer is Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Rated by Transfermarkt at £425,000, the 18-year-old has made some good progress this season but at his age, he needs regular first-team football at a good level.

Jurgen Klopp has used him sparingly during the EFL Cup campaign earlier this season but at QPR, he'd be getting consistent football at a club that should be really looking to aim for the play-offs next season.

Of course, this would more likely be a loan switch due to the youngster's potential down at Anfield, but throwing a couple of youngsters into the mix if things have gone a bit stale is never a bad shout in the slightest.

Queens Park Rangers are a proud club with a good history and with Holloway at the helm, the future should certainly be looking brighter.
