It has been a testing start to life at Elland Road for Paul Heckingbottom, who is still waiting for his first victory as Leeds United head-coach.

Heckingbottom has picked up two points from a possible nine so far, with Leeds coming out of a testing three fixtures with plenty of praise.

A 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United was a disappointing start to life with Leeds, however, since then, Heckingbottom has overseen two 2-2 draws, with his side picking up a point against Bristol City and Derby County.

Last night’s 2-2 draw with Derby was Leeds’ best performance under Heckingbottom, with Kasey Palmer’s late goal cruelly denying the Whites a victory at Pride Park.

Heckingbottom’s side face Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday, when Leeds’ new boss will be hopeful his side can pick up three points.
