Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa looks like he has made a long-term decision regarding his squad by allowing goalkeeping outcast Kamil Miazek to leave Elland Roa,d after two disappointing years at the club, with strong interest from Scottish giants Rangers, according to a report by Football Insider.

Miazek, 23, is out of contract in the summer and a new deal from the Whites looks unlikely, leaving the Gers in pole position having expressed interest in the former Polish U21 keeper previously.

So are the Whites right to let Miazek leave and do you feel he is likely to play if he moves to Rangers?

"I think this is the right decision by Leeds.

"With Illan Meslier impressing in his league debut on Saturday it seems it would be no surprise if Leeds do make the Lorient loanee's move permanent in the summer, while the fact it was Elia Caprile on the bench in the absence of suspended number one Kiko Casilla appears to highlight just how far down the pecking order Miazek is at Elland Road.

"As a result, it would surely make sense to move the Pole on at the end of the season in order to make room in the squad and wage budget in order to strengthen their side, something they will have to do whether they are preparing for the Premier League or Championship next season.

"Given his lack of senior experience, Rangers does seem a slightly surprising destination considering the expectation there is around Ibrox, and it is hard to see Miazek walking straight into that side ahead of more established and proven goalkeepers such as Allan McGregor."

"Miazek may have moved up in the pecking order at Elland Road following Kiko Casilla's recent ban, but it still seems unlikely that the Polish stopper will receive any minutes this campaign given he remains the third choice at present.

"I can't envisage Miazek's situation improving much over the summer given he is not in the first-team picture at the moment, and this means that a move away from Leeds would probably be best for both the club and the player himself.

"The 23-year-old is at the age where he now needs to be involved in senior football, and he would definitely stand a better chance of playing first-team action at Rangers particularly given Allan McGregor is not getting any younger.

"Leeds and Miazek should carefully weigh up their options over the summer as they decide the best route for the goalkeeper to play more minutes, but Rangers does seem a strong option given the Scottish side are clearly keen on his services."

"I think it's inevitable that Miazek will leave Elland Road in the summer, and it would undoubtedly be the right decision for the young shot-stopper to do so.

"Miazek has been unfortunate not to have featured under Bielsa over the past couple of seasons - even Will Huffer had a chance to impress in the absence of Bailey Peacock-Farrell last term.

"He's 23 years of age now and isn't getting any younger, and at this stage of his career, he simply needs to get out and start playing games at first-team level.

"I can't see him starting for Rangers if he moves to Ibrox, though. They have two very accomplished goalkeepers on their books in Allan McGregor and Wes Foderingham, but even though the former is approaching the latter stages of his career, Miazek would surely be a long-term option."
