Luis Boa Morte is set to return to Fulham as Marco Silva prepares to take over at Craven Cottage.

Boa Morte spent seven years at Craven Cottage as a player after arriving initially in loan from Southampton in 2000.

The Portuguese midfielder helped the club win the First Division title in 2000/01, and also won their Player of the Season award in 2004/05.

Since retiring from the game, Boa Morte has held coaching roles with Sporting Lisbon's reserves, Sintrense and Maccabi Haifa. He then became Silva's assistant at Everton in the summer of 2019, before being sacked in December.

But with Silva now set to replace Scott Parker at Craven Cottage, Boa Morte is set to return to the club and become the 43-year-old's assistant for a second time, as per Peter Rutzler of The Athletic.

Naturally, plenty of Fulham fans have reacted to the news that Boa Morte is set to return after spending over 13 years away from the club.

They loved him as a player, and it will now be a satisfying feeling to see him back in the dugout as Marco Silva looks to guide the club back into the Premier League.

Here, we take a look at Fulham fans' reactions to Boa Morte's return...
