It's been a mixed season for QPR down at Loftus Road but there's hope Ian Holloway will be able to transform the first-team over the summer months.

He's come into the club at a strange time in regards to the hangover that has remained from Tony Fernandes' first months in-charge at the club.

And despite starting well, his side lost a little bit of direction towards the end of the season and it shows just how much work there is to be done in the coming weeks.

And one of the biggest things that needs to be addressed over the summer is potential signings that can be brought in on the cheap.

It's more-than-likely Holloway will be targeting free agents or out-of-contract stars due to the club's transfer budget and there's one man we'd love to see him move for.

The man in question? Blackburn Rovers midfielder Jason Lowe, who is set to leave the club following their relegation from the Championship on the final day of the season.

Lowe's contract is also at an end this summer too, which means his £1.8million Transfermarkt valuation is completely nullified.

The Rovers captain has had a tough job of leading his teammates week-in, week-out this season and most of the time, he's played well amongst a team of underperformers.

And you get the feeling he'd be a seriously good fit at a club like QPR, who are in need of experienced, hard-working and reasonable transfers this summer.

In that respect, Lowe looks like he'd be the perfect fit at Loftus Road, if Holloway were to make a move this summer.

QPR fans- would you welcome the signing of Lowe to the club this summer? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
