Blackburn have had a very good start to life back in the Championship, with Tony Mowbray's men firmly in the pack chasing the play-offs.

Victory against Bolton last time out took Rovers to within a point of the top six and fans will be hoping they can maintain this form throughout the season.

Obviously, it will be a difficult ask but Mowbray has built a very good side at Ewood Park that have a clear style, whilst in Bradley Dack they have a standout individual.

Yet, you get the feeling that if this is to be a truly memorable season for the Lancashire side, further additions will be needed in January.

Here we look at THREE players that could join and make a real difference to the team...

The Wolves man is completely out of favour at Molineux and will be allowed to move in January.

And, he would give Mowbray more quality in a position that they are struggling with. First choice right-back Ryan Nyambe has missed the last two games through injury, with Elliott Bennett, a winger, filling in that role.

Therefore, a full-back will be a priority and Mowbray is the man to help Iorfa fulfil his potential.

As well as that, Mowbray might want an upgrade when it comes to a left-sided defender and Mings would fit the bill.

He is way down the pecking order at Bournemouth and will want to move on to play regularly.

Like Iorfa, he was a highly-rated player that lost his way and the former Celtic manager could be the one to get his career back on track.

The Cardiff winger would be a versatile option for Mowbray as he can play down either flank or even in the middle if needed.

As well as that, he has experience of winning promotion and that could be vital over the course of the season.
