With the final rounds of Championship matches looming for this season, clubs will be bracing themselves for a busy summer with players who have made a name for themselves over the course of the season expected to make a move.

One of the biggest movers of the summer in the Championship is likely to be 22-year-old Birmingham City striker Che Adams with Southampton, Burnley and newly promoted Norwich City all keen on the player, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

So, is Adams worth the £15million Birmingham are expected to ask for him?

We discuss........

George Brooks

"In the current market, maybe. Adams has had an outstanding season for Birmingham City in the Championship.

"He is an exciting young player and has scored plenty of goals for the Blues this season.

"He certainly has a lot of potential and at the age of 22, there is still plenty of time for him to improve.

"His age and his impressive scoring record will probably mean that Southampton will have to pay a significant amount for the striker."

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes, he is in today’s market.

“Whether that’s a true reflection of value is another thing altogether.

“I like him, he’s a team player and has a certain quality that comes from climbing out of the non-league scene.

“For me, he’ll be top flight next season.”

Louie Chandler

"Definitely.

"He is the real deal. Garry Monk has managed to instil a brilliant attitude in him now and that was the main thing holding him back.

"He more than has the tools to cut it in the Prem and I would be amazed if he doesn't get his chance."

Jacob Potter

"In today’s market, he’s worth that.

"Adams is a proven goalscorer in English football and you have to pay for quality at this level.

"If he can score the goals to keep Southampton in the Premier League, then it’ll certainly be worth it for the Saints."
