It was another underwhelming campaign last season for Queens Park Rangers who now seem a long way off the side who won promotion to the Premier League five years ago.

With Steve McClaren now at the helm he will be keen to transform the R's into promotion candidates for the coming season.

This will involve a fair few new arrivals and a fair few departures.

Four players have already left as free agents whilst goalkeeper Alex Smithies and full-back Jack Robinson joined Cardiff City and Nottingham Forest respectively.

There will also no doubt be some players who will be leaving on loan for the coming season in order to gain more experience.

Here are three players who are ready to be loaned out but not sold in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.

At 19, Goss still has plenty of time to become a key player for QPR in the future.

But for now, the midfielder will struggle to break into Steve McClaren's starting XI for the coming season.

He impressed during his loan spell with Rangers last season and another loan spell this year will stand him in very good stead.

Chair is somebody else who could benefit from a loan stint away from Loftus Road.

Having spent the season in the Under 23 squad, and making four appearances for the first team, it is time he was sent out in order to gain regular first-team experience and come back a better player for it.

The left-back is somebody else who in unlikely to feature much in Steve McClaren's plans next season and should be loaned out.

The Fin did not play any first-team football last season and is in desperate need of some if he is to stake a claim to the left-back spot in the future.
