Leeds United had a weekend off from the Championship title race and in doing so saw their rivals all steal a march on them at the top of the table.

There were big wins for Norwich City and Sheffield United, with West Brom coming through a Birmingham derby unscathed as well. All of the top four won their matches, with the exception of the Whites who were watching on from their sofas.

Goal difference could be crucial and at the moment, Leeds are six or seven goals worse off than their title rivals. Norwich City, who lead the table by two points, have a plus 23 difference.

Sheffield United, big winners against Reading courtesy of a Gary Madine brace, move into second by virtue of their plus 24 goal difference. They're level on points with Marcelo Bielsa's side, but on plus 17 the Whites lag some way behind. Even West Brom, four points behind Leeds, have a plus 24 difference.

It's left some Leeds fans a little panicky on social media this morning. Some have seen the benchmark, the levels at which their opponents are now punching, whereas others have used it as another stick to beat the club with.

Seeing their rivals putting chances away, whilst Leeds miss an awful lot, has led them to a dark conclusion when it comes to automatic promotion.

Here's the best of the debate this morning.
