It's been a long old season for Reading but their journey back into the Premier League could be completed with a win over Huddersfield Town at Wembley next week.

The Royals have been there or there about's all season and under Jaap Stam, they've been one of the most organised and consistent sides in the division.

The former Manchester United defender has got them playing with confidence and quality across the whole of the pitch and it's good to see Royals supporters seeing some quality football for what seems like the first time in years.

And one man we think would be a superb addition to their ranks on a permanent basis, especially if they get promoted this summer is Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban.

The £2.55million-rated striker might not have been at his prolific best this campaign, but his three goals and three assists in 16 appearances have made a huge impact in their push for the promotion places.

Granted, they're not goalscoring figures that have set the division on fire but he's brought an element of pace and energy to the Reading frontline, something that more prolific striker Yann Kermorgant doesn't really have in his game.

The pair have complimented each other extremely well indeed over the past couple of months and he's a player that could do with more regular minutes, having struggled since a high-profile move to Bournemouth.

Reading could soon be on their way back to the Premier League and it's clear that the Royals could have what it takes to overcome Huddersfield next Monday.

Bringing in a player like Grabban on a permanent deal would be a massive string to their bow if they did make it too.
