Middlesbrough are looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season against Norwich City at the weekend, with it looking likely that Tony Pulis will be boosted by the return of Martin Braithwaite.

Braithwaite’s future was cast into doubt late in the summer transfer window, with the forward looking for a way out of the Riverside Stadium.

Despite his desire to leave, a move never materialised, with the 27-year-old still at Boro until at least January.

Leeds held Boro to a goalless draw in their last outing, with Braithwaite an unused substitute that evening.

Now, the Dane seems set for a return to action, taking to his personal Twitter account to show his commitment to Boro with a very honest message, which read:

Braithwaite, who has three goals in just five appearances this season, is a hugely popular figure amongst Boro’s fanbase.
