After West Brom's abysmal season in the Premier League which ended in the club's relegation, Darren Moore is hopeful of building a squad that can bounce straight back to the Premier League.

One way that he is looking to do that is by bringing in more attacking talent. West Brom scored nowhere near enough goals last season to even have a sniff at survival and is something that needs to change if they are to return to the Premier League.

They are yet to make any signings but there has been plenty of talk of who the Baggies will be bringing in this summer.

One name they have been linked with is Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

But would the winger be a good fit for West Brom?

There is no doubt that, stylistically, Aarons is the sort of player that West Brom have been crying out for.

Someone who can play in a similar style to Matt Philips, the 22-year-old is incredibly fast and not afraid to take on his man.

It is likely that most fans have only seen a glimpse of Aarons once as Newcastle United thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 despite already being relegated.

He popped up with a goal and an assist in that match and gave the Magpies fans something to get excited about.

But he has had absolutely awful luck with injuries over the last few seasons.

Just a few games into the 16/17 season he suffered a metatarsal fracture which kept him out for two months before rupturing his Achilles tendon just weeks after regaining fitness, which kept him out for the rest of the season.

He struggled for game time at St. James's Park last season and was subsequently loaned out to Hellas Verona in Serie A where he failed to make an impact.

So it would be a risky signing for Darren Moore.

There is no doubt that Aarons has the talent to be a great player for West Brom. But that is reliant on him staying fit.
