Middlesbrough have had a very steady opening 16 matches of the Championship season and currently sit in fourth place.

Tony Pulis’ side look set to push for an automatic promotion place after starting the season as one of the only sides to perform to a consistently high level, which leaves them currently sitting just two points behind Leeds United.

Whilst their defence has been incredibly impressive, Boro have been lacking in firepower at times with their 17 goals the lowest tally amongst the promotion hopefuls.
