Daniel James has enjoyed a good start to the season, with Leeds United recently linked with a move for the Swansea City flyer.

Leeds are currently looking to maintain their position in the race to secure promotion and, according to Football Insider, want to bring James on board in January to bolster their chance.

Marcelo Bielsa reportedly wants a new winger in the winter window, with James a man on the radar after impressing for Swansea.

The 21-year-old has failed to score in 10 Championship appearances this season, but he’s registered three assists and impressed with his attacking play.

Ryan Giggs has called him into the senior Wales squad for this month’s international break, with James seemingly having a big future ahead of him.

His signing would represent an exciting addition at Elland Road, and here at FLW, we take a look at the club’s potential new-look attack that could be lining up in 2019…

Saiz has missed out on the starting XI recently, but he will be back in soon enough.

He will take up his usual role.

Hernandez has been amongst Leeds’ best players this season, scoring five goals and registering four assists.

Even if James arrives, he will continue on the right.

Patrick Bamford should be back in 2019 to challenge Roofe, but for now, the seven-goal forward is continuing to justify his place in the side.

Roofe will spearhead Leeds’ promotion push in the New Year.

Ezgjan Alioski has struggled for consistency on the left and James’ arrival would give him serious competition for a place in the starting XI.

Given a run in the team, the 21-year-old could potentially find the consistency that Alioski is lacking.
