Lee Bowyer has done a fantastic job with Charlton Athletic and has guided the Addicks right into the heart of the automatic promotion race.

They now sit in fourth place with 29 matches played and just three points behind second-placed Luton Town.

But they will need to strengthen this month to maintain that promotion push and the latest name to be linked with a move to Bowyer's side is Bolton Wanderers attacker Erhun Oztumer.

The 27-year-old has had a tricky time since moving to Bolton in the summer and Phil Parkinson is apparently willing to let him go.

During his spell with Walsall in League One, Oztumer netted 32 goals in 95 appearances and it looks like he could find himself back in the third-tier soon.

It is a signing that would no doubt give the manager a positive selection headache, however.

So here is one way he could line-up his attack if Oztumer were to sign...

Right attacking-midfield: Jonathan Williams

The injury-prone talent looks like he has put his problems behind for now and is impressing at the Valley after signing as a free-agent.

He is an extremely likeable guy and someone the Addicks' fans have taken to very quickly so it would be foolish to take him out of the side.

Left attacking-midfield: Erhun Oztumer

A bit further to Williams's left would be the new kid on the block.

Oztumer showed during his time with Walsall what an explosive talent he can be in an advanced position with nearly all his good work coming on his left foot.

This way, Bowyer would be able to get the best out of both players.

Striker: Lyle Taylor

Suspended at the moment, but Taylor has been impressive since arriving on a free transfer in the summer.

12 goals and eight assists show the talent of the man and he will always be one of the first names on Lee Bowyer's team sheet if not the first.

Striker: Karlan Grant

There has been a lot of well-publicised interest in Grant this transfer window but Bowyer will be desperate to keep him at the club.

14 goals and five assists show why he is so highly rated but the prospect of playing in this slick attacking unit could be enough to persuade him to stay and push for promotion.
