The high-flying Wolves furthered their chances of promotion back to the Premier League on Tuesday night, after ending Brentford's four game unbeaten-streak with a 3-0 thrashing of the Bees at Molineux. 

Nuno Santo's men have really rised to the occasion this season, as Tuesday night's win now takes them 12 points clear of second place at the summit of the Championship table.

Wolves midfield general Ruben Neves was the star of the show as his breathtaking free-kick opened their account for the night, to be follow by goals from Barry Douglas and Diogo Jota in what was a second-half rout from Nuno's wolf pack.

Indeed, the former Porto captain has been brilliant since joining the Football League, constantly providing established performances of a Premier League level, with his outrageous vision and ball-playing abilities.

Of course, there was no let up in his performance against Brentford. After ending the match with a goal to his name, the Portuguese midfielder took to his personal Twitter account (@rubendsneves_), to highlight the importance of securing their first win in 2018.

Following the midfielder's post, the wolf pack reacted in delight as they congratulated him on the goal, and praised the man for all he's done for the club in his short time at Molineux.
