Matt Clarke is winning the plaudits around League One for his early season performances.

Clarke is good in front of goal too. His equaliser in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with Burton was his third goal this term – equaling his tally for the whole of last season.
Lee Brown, Clarke’s teammate, was very complementary when talking to the club’s website recently, saying: “I think he can go to the top. I think most people who come to the game on a Saturday will think that as well.
“From my time in the league, he’s one of the best and he’s going to have a fantastic career.”
