Mansfield Town could be set for an exciting end to their Sky Bet League Two campaign.

At present, the Stags sit eighth in League Two, level on points with Tranmere Rovers in seventh and the last play-off place.

Mansfield also have a game in hand over many of their close competitors, which if they won, could put them back in the running for an automatic promotion spot.

With that being said though, whether promoted or not, there is plenty of things off the pitch that need to be addressed this summer and one of which is deciding which players to keep, and which to allow to move on.

Here, we've picked out the players set to leave Mansfield Town this summer, unless a contract extension is agreed before then.

James Perch

One player set to leave Mansfield Town this summer unless their contract is renewed is midfielder James Perch.

Perch has been with the club since 2020 and it out of contract come june, according to Transfermarkt.

The 36-year-old has appeared 16 times for the Stags in Sky Bet League Two this season, and also has one goal to his name.

Unless a late contract extension is announced though, he's heading for the exit door this summer.

Stephen Quinn

Another player seemingly heading for that exit door is another 36-year-old and that's midfielder Stephen Quinn.

Quinn joined Mansfield permanently last summer on a one-year deal, meaning he is out of contract in the summer.

Having played a big part this season, appearing 34 times in Sky Bet League Two so far this campaign, Quinn would undoubtedly be a loss, particularly on a free, this summer.

Jordan Bowery

Striker Jordan Bowery joined the club in 2020 but his spell with the Stags could also come to an end this summer unless he signs a new deal before June.

He too, like Quinn, has played a big part for Mansfield Town in Sky Bet League Two, appearing 36 times in the league this season, scoring seven goals and registering four assists.

In total, Bowery has made 88 Mansfield appearances since arriving at the club, scoring 17 goals and registering 12 assists.

Those goals will need to be replaced if Bowery heads for the exit door this summer.
