‘The players are a disgrace’ – Plenty of Reading fans react after disappointing draw v Hull

Reading drew 1-1 at home to Hull City in the Championship yesterday.

Mark Bowen said his side ‘looked jaded’ after their midweek FA Cup tie with Cardiff City, which saw Reading progress on penalties after drawing in extra-time.

Jordan Obita gave Reading the lead after a goalless first-half yesterday but Hull stuck to their guns and found a late equaliser through Mallik Wilks.

The festive period saw Reading hit some peak form. They were climbing up the table and a top-six spot looked to be on the cards at one point.

But now without a win since New Year’s Day, Reading are going through a sticky patch and face both West Brom and Leeds in the coming weeks.
