Aston Villa
‘The play-offs’ – Where will Aston Villa finish this season? The verdict

Aston Villa fans will be hoping that the pairing of Dean Smith as manager and John Terry as his assistant will be able to reverse the fortunes of the Midlands club to get them in contention at the top of the Championship table.
Smith and Terry arrive during the international break and have nine days to stamp their mark on the Villa squad in preparation for the visit of Swansea City on the 20th October.
But what can we expect from Villa now and more importantly where will Villa finish up this season?
We discuss…..
George Dagless
The play-offs.
I’m going to assume Dean Smith is the right appointment because I always felt he should be the one they should get.
He’ll get their attacking assets singing and they’ll be tough to stop.
Gary Hutchinson
Top six.
Even without Smith they have the players for a promotion push.
With him they should be able to break into the playoff spots.
Jacob Potter
With Dean Smith in charge at Villa Park now, I feel he is the right man to get this under-performing Villa side back on track so I can see them finishing inside the top six.
With John Terry as his assistant, he’s got an excellent former player that can motivate these players.
