Things are looking good for Leeds United heading into the final nine games of the Championship season, with Premier League football looking a real possibility for 2020/21.  

Leeds sit top of the Championship table, a point clear of West Bromwich Albion in second, but more importantly, seven clear of Fulham and the chasing-pack in the play-off places.

There are nine games left to play in the Championship and the general feeling is that it’ll take around five wins for Leeds to secure a place back in the Premier League next season.

However, that article has sparked a strong response from a fanbase that aren’t getting carried away given their recent failings.

Last year saw them throw away a similar position and then crash out of the play-offs, which has left the bulk of fans not counting their chickens until the Championship title (or second place) is firmly in their grasp.
