Arsenal will face competition from their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, if they follow up their interest in Norwich City full-back Max Aarons, according to a report in The Mirror.

The 18-year-old is valued at £15m by Norwich and has been a regular for Daniel Farke with 20 appearances so far this season.

So would Aarons be a good addition to Arsenal?

We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

The perfect signing.

Emery's summer defensive recruits have not exactly covered themselves in glory so far this season but Aarons would change that pattern.

The youngster is strong defensively and very useful in attack. He would be a hit at the Emirates.

Jacob Potter

This would be a sensible move.

Aarons could play a crucial role in the club’s future, and I’d be confident in saying that he could force his way into the first-team quite quickly at Arsenal.

If he gets regular game time, then this could be one of the signings of the season.

George Harbey

I think Arsenal could be a fantastic move for Aarons.

Unai Emery likes using younger players and isn’t afraid to give them a chance, as demonstrated when using many against Liverpool last weekend.

Aarons needs to think carefully about this, however.

Alfie Burns

Certainly.

Aarons is proving what a player he’s going to be in the future and he’d thrive at Arsenal with the right coaching.

Young players often struggle after moves like this, but Aarons wouldn’t.
