Jarrod Bowen was yesterday linked with a high-profile move across the Championship to Leeds United, as the Whites look to bolster their attacking line-up.

Leeds lost Eddie Nketiah and Jack Clarke to recalls earlier this month after limited loan spells, and now Victor Orta and Marcelo Bielsa have their eyes firmly set on a replacement.

According to Alan Nixon in The Sun, they are keen on taking Bowen, 23, away from Hull City, initially on-loan for £3m, before making that permanent in the summer for a mammoth fee if they’re promoted.

And, to add to the speculation, Hull have signed Mallik Wilks from Championship rivals Barnsley, with the 21-year-old a player Grant McCann knows can play across the frontline, just like Bowen.

Of course, there’s a difference between Bowen and Wilks – 15 Championship goals in Bowen’s favour to be exact – but it hasn’t stopped Leeds fans debating whether the 23-year-old is now Elland Road-bound.

Here, we look at the reaction…
