With ESPN recently reporting that Dean Henderson has emerged as a transfer target for high-profile clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham and Juventus, it's sure to be an interesting deal to keep an eye on.

Henderson is currently on loan with Sheffield United and has been in excellent form, keeping five clean sheets out of his last six league games.

He is a crucial player for Chris Wilder's side and will be key to their promotion push going forward for the remainder of this year's league campaign.

But if Henderson isn't to return to Sheffield United when his loan deal expires, then one man who will certainly have to step up is Simon Moore.

Sheffield United's second-choice goalkeeper will be keen to impress Chris Wilder and prove to the Blades boss that he is a more than adequate replacement for Henderson.

Moore has experience of playing in the Championship, having made 18 appearances in total for Sheffield United last season, but only kept two clean sheets in total.

Looking at it from Moore's perspective, he can't afford to be making any mistakes when he is given his chance in the first-team, otherwise his future at Bramall Lane could be all but over.

But he'll be quietly pleased to hear that Henderson is being linked with a move away from Manchester United, as this will mean that he can finally be given a run in the side by Chris Wilder.

He could even find himself being a regular starter in the Premier League if the Blades win promotion back to the top flight this season.

But as I've stressed earlier, it's vital that Moore grabs this chance with both hands and proves to Chris Wilder exactly what he can offer this Sheffield United team.
