It's been a turbulent couple of days down at Elland Road for Leeds United after the departure of Garry Monk and the club needs to quickly appoint someone to move things forward.

It's clear that with pre-season and the summer on the horizon, things need to move forward at the club quickly and the new bosses in charge need to find the right man sooner rather than later.

And there's one man we think would be a cracking fit down at Elland Road and that's Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder, who did the unthinkable in his first season down at Bramall Lane.

No other manager had succeeded in getting the Blades out of League One in over five years but in came Wilder, who did it his way and did it convincingly at the first attempt.

The Blades looked ruthless, cunning and quick to change when things weren't quite going their way. You get the impression that Leeds needed a little bit of that at times last season and bringing Wilder in could be a superb shout.

He's a no-nonsense, experienced manager who cares about the game. Leeds need a manager who can deal with the pressure and expectation, especially considering how close they were to succeeding last year too.

But Wilder has shown during his short tenure in-charge at Bramall Lane that he can come in and make a real impact in a short space of time.

The question is, how much would Leeds United be prepared to pay him to secure his services?
