Oldham Athletic will look to make it six games unbeaten as they prepare to host local rivals Bury on Saturday afternoon.

The Latics have turned a corner in League Two having gone unbeaten in over a month, and a 2-0 away win at Crewe Alexandra last weekend took them up to 12th in the table, five points off the playoff places.

The clash against Bury won't be easy by any means for Frankie Bunn's men however - Ryan Lowe's Shakers have lost just one of their last twelve games and sit 4th in the League Two table, just two points off the automatic promotion places.

Oldham, on the whole, have found adjusting to life in League Two hard after relegation from the third tier last term, but after their recent revival of late, they will be hopeful of claiming bragging rights in this Lancashire derby.

Here, we take a look at the Oldham XI that will clam bragging rights and defeat Bury this weekend...

Iversen has an everpresent in between the sticks for Oldham this season, and there is no reason why that should change this weekend.

Cameron Dummigan limped off injured in the Latics' 2-0 Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Rochdale last week so remains a doubt for this one - Rob Hunt could look to switch back to the right-hand side of defence for this one.

Clarke netted a sensational strike in Oldham's victory away at Crewe last week - no one is expecting him to do that again, but if he can keep another clean sheet, Oldham fans will be happy.

Partnering Clarke is George Edmondson, who has forged a good understanding with Clarke in recent weeks.

With Hunt moving to right-back, the experienced Andy Taylor could move back into left-back.

Lang has been fantastic for Bunn since his loan arrival from Wigan, scoring four goals and producing one assist, and Latics fans will be relying on the winger once again this week.

Due to Mohamed Maouche's red card against Rochdale, he'll be unavailable for this one - experienced midfielder Giles Coke could come in for this one, a man who spent a season on loan at Gigg Lane back in 2012.

Partnering Coke could be Jordan Lyden. The holding midfielder has been fantastic for Oldham following his loan move from Aston Villa, and will add defensive steel to the Oldham midfield.

Completing a midfield four that faces two changes from the Crewe game is Nepomuceno. The 26-year old possesses real pace and power down the left flank and could cause Bury some real problems.

O'Grady netted his third goal of the season against Crewe last weekend, and he will be looking to get back on the scoresheet this weekend in a feisty local derby.

Surridge is Oldham's top goalscorer with six goals to his name this season, and he will be looking to add his tally having gone without a goal in his last six games.
