Nottingham Forest midfielder, Claudio Yacob has been linked with a move away from the City Ground, with Greek giants, Olympiacos reportedly eyeing a deal for the Argentine according to Sportime.

The Greek media outlet claim that Olympiacos are keeping tabs on Yacob as the season progresses, over a potential deal in the summer.

The 31-year-old only arrived at Forest at the start of this year's campaign and there were high hopes for the former West Brom midfielder.

But he has been limited to just ten league starts, which is likely to be hugely frustrating for Yacob, who certainly has the quality to be playing regularly in the Championship.

He evidently isn't favoured by Martin O'Neill and hasn't featured since February, so he has every right to feel aggrieved over his current game time.

For any footballer, you want to be playing regularly, and if you aren't doing that, then you're sure to be considering your future at a club.

Yacob will be no different and you can understand if he is to be eyeing a move away from the City Ground, especially after falling further down the pecking order as the season heads towards a conclusion.

Olympiacos could be a tempting proposition for the midfielder as well, as it could offer him a fresh start, after a poor season with the Reds.

If he was given a fair run in the Forest starting XI and failed to impress, then his lack of game time would be completely understandable as the Reds need to focus purely on their challenge for a top six finish.

If he continues to be frozen out of the Forest squad for the remaining months of the season, then Yacob will surely be heading for the exit door in the summer, with Olympiacos being a good enough option to tempt him with a move abroad.
