There's a very big season for the Canaries on the horizon and with Daniel Farke now taking the reigns down at Carrow Road, there's expected to be a change in footballing style to go with it.

Many teams have tried and failed in employing a foreign manager to lead them out of the second-tier but after David Wagner's success at Huddersfield Town last season shows that it can be done almost instantaneously, when the right tools are on offer.

But the pressure will be on the shoulders of Farke almost straight away - the Canaries have been underwhelming at this level for sometime now considering their past success in the Premier League and they could do with starting off as well as possible to get amongst the chasers right away.

And there's one man we at the FLW think will be a big part of the squad next season and that's veteran midfielder Alex Tettey, who is entering his sixth season with the club.

He's a man that's seen the fall from the Premier League into the second-tier and certainly the sort of player that has enough quality to help them get back.

The likes of Hoolahan and Jerome always constantly seem to grab the headlines for the Canaries but Tettey is a seriously underrated player who ticks along quite nicely in midfield, making things happen and often cutting out the threat from opposing teams in the process.

He's also prone to banging in a cracker or two, although he's not at all known for his frequent goalscoring ability.

But alongside a number of other players in this Norwich City squad, he's got to really step up his game to ensure the team have every chance of reaching the play-offs or higher next season.

They've been away for far too long now and they're a club that should really be in and amongst the big chasers.
