Tyrese Campbell is back in training with Stoke City as he looks to return to the first-team next month.
The forward hasn’t played a game in 2021 after suffering a serious knee injury last December. However, he appears to be making good progress, as boss Michael O’Neill confirmed Campbell is closing in on a return.
Whilst the former Northern Ireland chief reiterated that the Potters will be patient with the talented youngster, it seems as though he could feature for Stoke in a league game after the international break next month.
Unsurprisingly, this is news that has gone down very well with the Stoke support as they remember just how good Campbell was prior to his injury.

Great news! Let’s hope we can ease him back into a winning team, takes the pressure off him which is a fair turnaround given that just a few weeks ago, any success this season seemed to hinge on his successful return.
