The transfer window is open, allowing Championship clubs to now sign players, and the rumour mill is rife at Nottingham Forest.

There has been lots of speculation surrounding players leaving and joining the club already in the summer transfer window and the season has barely finished.

The likes of Michael Dawson and Dean Marney have already been touted for free transfer switches to The City Ground, while it is likely that a number of players will leave the club this summer as Aitor Karanka eyes a rebuilding project at Nottingham Forest.

One player Forest have recently been linked with is Peterborough United's Marcus Maddison, who is currently transfer listed at the club.

If he does arrive, then he will be the first of many coming through the door at Forest.

Here are two players who could imminently follow him to The City Ground this summer.

Hull City defender Max Clark is out of contract and Forest are keen to sign him on the cheap.

The left-back has enjoyed a good breakthrough season at Hull after spending last term on loan at Cambridge United.

But now the 22-year-old could be on his way out of the KCOM Stadium with his contract coming to an end.

Not only have Forest been linked with Peterborough's Maddison, they are also interested in Jack Marriott and Gwion Edwards.

Marriott, 23, has bagged 33 goals for Posh this season and is wanted by a host of clubs in the Championship and Scotland.

While Forest have also looked at Lewis Grabban and Abel Hernandez, they are more likely to land Marriott if they come in with an early bid.
