Millwall will be looking to kick on from last season's strong showing and get themselves into the playoff race once again.

Brilliant organisation and work ethic sprinkled with a bit of stardust worked well for Neil Harris and his men as they underlined the fact that the Den is one of the hardest places to go in the league.

Certainly, the Lions will want to see more of that this coming season with a stronger squad but, at the same time with their budget in mind, it is hard to see where exactly the first team can be dramatically improved.

There's always opportunity, of course, but as our poll concerning Murray Wallace shows, it's going to be hard for new arrivals to immediately come into the starting line-up:

Harris has assembled a good team at the moment and though he'll always be looking for improvements, it will take some hard work to find the right men.

Adding competition for places is never a bad thing, though, and if Wallace can show his hunger to perform that should create a wider benefit for the whole squad.
